Rub Wrongways Records is also a recording studio of sorts.  Chief recordist, Henning Ohlenbusch, has been capturing music for over three decades. 

Ohlenbusch has recorded and produced many of the records in Rub Wrongways catalog as well as those of outside guests. His technique is to keep things simple, natural, and inspired and he maintains a strong belief that limitations create great art. The equipment is sparse and hidden away so that the concentration of the artists is on the art instead of on the process of recording it.
